Housekeeping & Laundry jobs: common questions
- Do I need experience to work in housekeeping?
- Not always. Many hotels hire and train new room attendants. Showing that you are reliable, hard-working and careful matters more than a long CV.
- What does a houseman do?
- A houseman, also called a house attendant, supports the room attendants. They move linen and supplies, clean public areas and do heavier jobs, such as moving furniture.
